#17. A string of happy events.

First & foremost, i'll like to express my impression for today's NDP parade
its the best NDP parade i've ever watched in these 4 years of sec life
really what, in the past 4 years, we didn't see

• the band playing the wrong song (provides some entertainment)
• the band marching with their instruments (military band?)
• the leader of the band performing 'stunts'
• the choir people following Mrs Ng's big action (behind the GOH)
  
• in-line skaters performing (& falling down)

On top of all these, there's many more NEW stuffs adding on

• carnival held in parade square
• jam-band concert in hall (by bands formed by our own students)
• live band performance at spiral staircase
• neoprint taking in AVA room
• PlayStation in computer labs
• rifle shooting in rifle range
• food carnival in canteen
• many other games in classroom block

One thing i can say, it'll be a pity if ex-Vistarians didn't come back today :/
its true, cause i think those who came back had great fun in NV
i still thought what Mrs Tay mentioned was a little exaggerating.

Ya, my mom's birthday is on National Day
& i've already planned a surprise for her (:

Last but not least, its the grand opening for the Olympic Games
i doubt i'll watch any games cause i simply don't have the time
besides, i'm not very 'into' sports recently
i'm more 'hiong' when i was in pri4 (oops, that was World Cup:x)
i still remember how my coach warned me not the be a couch potato over the holidays.

I went to the pool to tan & swim this afternoon
& the feeling for going there alone is bad ):
lesson learnt : never to go to the pool alone.

Firstly; the big pool is flooded with guys, i don't dare to take off my clothes
worst of all, there is no hunks, not one at all!
those who have good figures are boy-boy (too young for me)
those who are older than me are hairy man! (eeew!)
others are rich, but bald old 'tickos'! (yucks!).

Secondly; the sun is not pleasing at all, makes everybody turn off.

Thirdly; my mother just tempted me with durians
(no link, but i'm stopping my post here & going to durians side)

They are really going to eat durians without me!
